Name: 설렁탕 (“suhl-lung-tahng”; beef bone soup)
Description: This is one of the very time-consuming dishes of Korea. It tastes very pure, in my opinion. Basically, you stew the bone marrows of a cow for a very long time. The estimated time is generally about 4~6 hours, depending on how strong you want to make the soup. Of course, there should be meat around the bones, to give it that meaty taste.
People put sea-salt into this dish with rice as a meal. You add green onions as garnish, which gives more of a fresh taste, so I prefer to add some into mine.
